Combining artistry with technology to craft architectural woodwork
MRW furnished and installed the arched top exterior windows, first-floor storefront entries, and related trims matching the circa 1900’s details. Interior millwork incorporated traditional stile-and-rail wainscoting and large profile moldings and trim, along with tongue-and-groove planked vaulted beamed ceilings. The vaulted ceilings included shop-built framing with complete applied millwork to facilitate accurate and simplified installation conforming to the project schedule. The book-matched veneer over the mantel is some of our most beautiful work.
Superb level of design and craftsmanship.... Their state-of-the-art millwork facility allowed John Hickey and his team of designers, engineers, cabinetmakers, and finishers to produce work of the highest quality. All the more impressive given a very short construction schedule.
